Our Team

The relationship between your practitioner and yourself is a very important part of working to achieve your goals, which is why our team are dedicated to building safe, trusting and respectful relationships. Involve Psychology practitioners are each highly trained and dedicated to assisting you to overcome your difficulties and achieve your goals. The Involve Psychology team has a wide range of training, special interests and professional focus, which are detailed below. All of our practitioners use evidence based treatments in order to provide the best opportunities for personal growth, improvement and relief from symptoms.

Our Psychologists are all registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency) and practice within the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics. Our Accredited Mental Health Social Workers are members of Australian Association of Social Workers. All Involve Psychology practitioners are committed to continuing professional development and are approved providers with a range of funding structures including Medicare.

Gail is a committed and compassionate practitioner who enjoys combining her clinical psychology training with creativity to produce tangible outcomes for her clients. Gail works with children (aged 10+), young people and adults presenting with a range of problems. Gail has over a decade's experience working with people with mental health concerns, and has a particular interest in complex presentations and intervention approaches for difficulties including depression and mood dysregulation, anxiety, eating disorders, personality disorders, self-harm and suicidal behaviours, and trauma related problems.

Gail has previously worked in community settings with children and adolescents in out of home care, with children, adolescents and adults impacted by abuse and trauma, and in community and inpatient mental health settings with clients of all ages experiencing severe mental illness. 

As well as clinical practice, Gail administers psychoeducational assessments. Gail also has experience delivering mental health presentations, training and workshops to groups of all sizes - from single classes to international conferences.

Hayleigh

Hayleigh dunne (AAPI)

Hayleigh is a registered psychologist who has a passion for working with individuals to enhance their wellbeing and reach their goals, as well as supporting clients to navigate difficult times in their lives.

Hayleigh works with children (8+), adolescents, and young adults with a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression and mood disorders, stress, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, personality vulnerabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder. She also has a strong interest in working with people who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, including individuals struggling with or exploring their gender identity and sexual orientation. In addition to therapy, Hayleigh also administers psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive and academic assessments.

Hayleigh has previous experience working in schools with children and adolescents with a range of mental health concerns, as well as in inpatient and community mental health settings with adults experiencing severe and complex mental health difficulties.

Grace Beasley

Grace is a Registered Psychologist who is driven to support people of all ages to feel empowered and confident within themselves. Grace works to create a non-judgemental and safe space in which people feel heard and understood.

Grace provides flexible client-centred support, adapting evidence-based therapies to suit the client’s presentations, interests and needs. Grace works with children and families, adolescents and young adults. With an interest in mood dysregulation, anxiety and trauma related difficulties. In additional to individual therapy, Grace also administers psychoeducational assessments, including cognitive and academic assessments.

Grace has previous experience working within residential youth setting and a private practice with young people experiencing a range of severe and complex mental health difficulties and neurodevelopment disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Rush H. (MAPS)

Rush is a Registered Psychologist who takes great value in assisting people to navigate through difficult times in their lives.

Rush works with adults experiencing a range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, stress, panic, stress, sleep issues and more. Rush also enjoys working with adults to manage general adjustment and life stressors.

Rush uses a person-centred style of therapy, which means that she tailors the therapy approach to the needs of each client. She has an eclectic approach and draws from ACT, CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies. Rush has experience working in community, government, and private practice.

Rush enjoys having a healthy lifestyle, incorporating nutrition and fitness, to benefit her overall wellbeing.

Melissa Boylan

Melissa is a warm, empathetic psychologist with a passion for supporting children, young people and their families. She has spent her career predominantly working in the non-government sector with roles in a range of settings including child care, youth work, counselling and parenting support and has over a decade's experience spanning these areas.

Melissa works with children and young people up to age 18, as well as parents of young children. Melissa works across general mental health presentations and also has particular interested in supporting children and their families with developmental delays, challenging behaviour, emotional regulation, trauma and attachment issues.

Melissa offers both talk and play based therapies. She believes that younger children learn best through play and uses a child lead, play based approach to support young children to develop social and emotional skills; whilst simultaneously supporting the adults in their lives to better understand and attend to their needs while building healthy, secure attachment relationships.

Jenna

Jenna Luscombe (Co-founder; director; MAPS; EMDRAA)

Jenna is a registered Psychologist who has a passion for supporting individuals through difficult times in their life and in reaching their potential. Jenna is an open and compassionate practitioner who is flexible in her delivery of therapy so as to best suit her clients needs. She has worked within not-for-profit mental health and schools to support individuals across a vast range of mental health problems. Jenna works with young people and adults who are faced with significant difficulties, with an interest in  trauma and early intervention for mental health problems.

Jenna has experience in providing intervention to those that have experienced anxiety, mood disorders, childhood trauma, learning difficulties, developmental difficulties/delays, social difficulties, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and mental health and personality problems.

Jenna has also worked in delivering training and workshops in the wider community and conducting psychoeducational assessments.

Pratyusha Sonie Jawalkar (mAPS)

Sonie is a registered psychologist with strong set of values and passion for helping individuals who are facing various life challenges. She enjoys working with adolescents and adults, culturally and linguistically diverse, gender and sexuality diverse and individuals from all walks of life. She aims to decrease suffering and improve functioning of individuals by providing collaborative, responsive, empathetic and evidence-based intervention. She is focused on helping her clients understand their own emotions and behaviours while using a mix of cognitive behavioural, ACT, problem focused, DBT, relaxation, schema therapy and mindfulness based approaches.

Sonie has experience working in community health and private practice delivering interventions for a range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, domestic violence issues, self-esteem, chronic illness, health anxiety, pain management, stress, workplace issues and assertiveness. Sonie is multilingual and speaks in English, Hindi and a couple of other Indian languages.

Sharon is a registered Psychologist who is passionate about providing her clients with the necessary tools to reach their potential.   Sharon uses a variety of evidenced based therapeutic interventions with a client focused and empathetic approach.  She provides a warm, non-judgemental space for her clients to feel supported whilst working towards their goals.

Sharon has worked in both not-for-profit and private practice settings and sees adolescents (16+) and adults of all ages in her practice.  Sharon is experienced in working with people presenting with a number of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, adjusting to life transitions, and problems related to trauma.

Sophie McNamara

Sophie is a Registered Psychologist who creates a non-judgmental space through her warm, compassionate and person-centred approach to therapy. Sophie works with children under 14 and adults. She supports individuals overcome challenges associate with their mental health and life challenges.  

Sophie has a background working with individuals on the NDIS where she provides reports, assessments and interventions to meet her client’s needs. Sophie has a particular interest in working with children experiencing behavioural challenges, emotional dysregulation and neurodivergence. She works from a holistic family systems approach to address these challenges.  

Drawing from a range of evidence-based theories, Sophie collaborates with her clients to tailor therapy to meet the client’s needs and goals. Sophie works with presentations such as anxiety and depression, life transitions and adjustment, emotional regulation difficulties and interpersonal challenges.

MOLLY BARESIC

Occupational Therapist

Molly is an Occupational Therapist who is passionate about working with children, young people and their families to support them to thrive across numerous areas of their lives. Molly strives to take a holistic approach to working with the individual and family and make therapy as fun and engaging as possible. 

Molly uses a client-centred and evidence based approach to support children and their families to achieve their goals. These may include developing play, fine motor, gross motor, executive functioning, handwriting, emotional regulation or self-care (e.g. dressing, toileting, hygiene management and mealtimes) skills. Molly also works with clients to build skills for increasing independence and transition to employment and adulthood, including developing routines, understanding and using transport systems, financial literacy, navigating peer, romantic and professional relationships and work environments. 

Molly has previous experience working in private practice and educational settings with individuals in the early intervention space and those with neurodivergent profiles, such as Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. 

Molly works with children and adolescents aged 3 - 17 years, along with their families.
