Do I need a referral?
You do not require a referral to access any services at Involve Psychology, however if you decide to seek a referral, you may be eligible to rebates. Read our Referral Process for more information.
How long does a session take?
Approximately 50 minutes.
Are sessions confidential?
All information disclosed to your Involve Psychology practitioner is held in strict confidence. All files are kept securely and are strictly for the psychologist’s records.
Exceptions to this include:
If your file is subpoenaed by a court;
If the psychologist’s failure to disclose information could place you or another person at serious and imminent risk;
If your prior approval has been obtained to provide reports or discuss material with another person.
What are the fees associated with seeing a psychologist at Involve?
Fees are dependent on the type of service required, and out of pocket costs vary depending on referral type.
Our standard session fees are:
Clinical Psychologist - $260 for initial session, $245 for subsequent sessions
Registered Psychologist - $220 for initial session, $210 for subsequent sessions
Occupational Therapist - $193.99 for initial session, $193.99 for subsequent sessions
*Please note that a 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your initial session.
If you hold a Mental Health Care Plan referral, this entitles you to a rebate of $137.05 (Clinical Psychologist), or $93.35 (Registered Psychologist) for up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year. We also accept NDIS, DVA, WorkCover and Victims of Crime funding.
Involve does offer limited reduced fee services for clients experiencing financial hardship who meet eligibility criteria - please contact our client relations team for more information.
Where are you located?
Our office is at 22, 1344 Gympie Rd, Aspley Qld 4034 (directly above the Cheesecake shop in the Aspley Fountain Centre). There is ample parking available. Access to the stairs is located directly next to Aspley Elite Dental). Unfortunately, we are not wheelchair accessible.
