Psychoeducational Assessments

Involve psychologists offer a range of assessments to help determine intelligence, learning difficulties, gifted and talented, and behavioural problems.

Who might benefit from psychoeducational assessment?

  • Children who are struggling at school

  • Children with specific difficulties in maths, spelling or writing

  • Children with attention, concentration or memory problems

  • Children who are struggling to make and keep friends

  • Children with behavioural problems

  • Children with communication problems

What does a psychoeducational assessment involve?

Initially, an assessment involves parent or guardian attendance at an intake session with the psychologist to obtain detailed information regarding the presenting issues, developmental history and school performance. Following the intake, your psychologist will determine appropriate assessment measures. After the completion of all assessments, a feedback session will be scheduled to provide the results and a report. This feedback session usually takes place between 2-4 weeks after the completion of assessment measures.

Fees are dependent based on the type of assessment required.

Contact us via phone, email or the Assessment Enquiry form on this page to learn more and discuss fees.
