See an Involve Psychology Practitioner
A referral is not required for any of our services, however a referral may entitle you to access rebates through a range of funding schemes.

Medicare - Mental Health Care Plan
A Mental Health Care Plan entitles eligible patients to a Medicare rebate for up to 10 individual and 10 group sessions per calendar year. To access this rebate, you require a referral from your GP, psychiatrist, or Paediatrician.
Medicare - Eating Disorder Management Plan
An Eating Disorder Management Plan entitles eligible patients to a Medicare rebate for up to 40 psychological sessions within 12 months of the date of the referral. To access this rebate, you require a referral from your GP, Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
Medicare - Helping Children with Autism Initiative
A Helping Children with Autism referral entitles eligible children to a Medicare rebate for up to 20 allied health (including psychology) sessions. To access this rebate, you require a referral from a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician.
Employee Assistance Programs
Many workplaces offer limited funded psychology sessions through their Employee Assistance Programs. In order to determine your eligibility, you will need to speak with your workplace.
WorkCover and Insurance Companies (CTP)
If you are seeking psychology services related to an injury or incident at work, you may be eligible for CTP funding. In order to determine your eligibility, you will need to contact your insurance case officer and may require a referral from your GP.
Private Health Insurance
If you are insured with a private health fund, you may be eligible for psychological services. In order to determine your eligibility, you will need to contact your fund and ask for the amount of rebate to which you are entitled. Most private health funds require you to pay for your session upfront, then reimburse you their rebate on presentation of your receipt from your session.
DVA White and Gold Card Holders
If you are a DVA White or Gold Card holder, please let our reception know when you make your booking. You will require a referral from your GP.
NDIS Registered Participants
All of our practitioners can provide services to NDIS self and plan managed participants, provided your plan includes funding for psychological services. Involve Psychology does not provide services to NDIA managed clients.
Victims of Crime
Each state of Australia has an independent Victims of Crime service which assists victims and witnesses of crime to access health services. To determine your eligibility for Victims of Crime funded health treatment, you will need to contact the service in which the crime occurred, and make an application for assistance to access health care.
